Everybody Mango!

I am currently back in Baltimore. I got my three tiny cavities filled, quite painlessly. Among many other things, I am pond-fishing through my iTunas and putting the finishing touches on a Hey you! It's summer! homemade CD mix extravaganza of indie goodness. In honor of Portuguese summers, it shall be entitled Everybody Mango!

If you would like to Mango, I would be happy to send you such a Compact Disc with my handwriting on it. But you might want to indicate as such, and be sure that I have your postal address.

Thank you. And now, dance.

Rachel,
thank you for your good vote of confidence. Let's work on making the phrase "everybody mango" push out the boring "dog days of summer" in the English language.

Elizabeth,
I do think those ladies of 1660 are stellar. Happy to send you mail.

Aye, I want one, please.

Plan B- it's ok, she's coming off a little cocky or something... I don't know, I'm about 1/2-way through. I like her earlier stuff more though, so far. And all this anger towards Bush! I mean, I sure hae definite problems with the Bush Administration, but I'm not, like, tracing everything wrong in my life (or, to use her words, claiming "he's devasted the lives of everyone I know," back to him.

Anyway, I like her approach to God. How at the end of the day, all she knows is he or she not American, or male, and that he or she is love. If all we know of God is love, maybe that's enough.

Hi Jenelle,

I'm getting ready to reply to your email to me. Sorry it's taken me so long. But I would LOVE a CD from you. Especially because you're totally into the indie scene, so I bet it would be a CD just chock full o' fun! I'll include my address in my reply email. =)

Adding to the Anne Lamott convo:

Plan B is definitely my least fave...I love Traveling Mercies the most. I just started Grace, Eventually and I like it a lot...and I started Bird by Bird but I got bored. Oh, same with Blue Shoe...started it and got bored.
